About this space
This all-year-round cabin has been newly rebuilt in 2023 and is situated just off Hecla Island. It’s 16 kms north of Riverton on Highway 8 and 7 kms from the causeway. Gull Harbour Marina is a scenic 26-minute drive which is home to Greenback fishing (walleye). The owners wish to welcome you to a special part of Manitoba with quick access to both Hecla and Grindstone provincial park!
The cabin is located on a 600-acre farm next to the freshest fish store offering a variety of fish including Walleye, pickerel cheeks, and seasonal assorted smoked fish (whitefish, catfish, perch, etc.). Tours of the local fish plant are available by the owners as you learn about the commercial fishing industry on Lake Winnipeg. The grounds are immaculately kept and has amble room for boat and snowmobile trailer storage. Access to the lake is just minutes away with your choice of Sandy Bar, Hecla village or Gull Harbour Marina.
The Space
The cabin is 1150sq. ft and has an open layout with a spacious kitchen, cabinets, and counter space. The cabin has three well appointed bedrooms and can sleep 8 comfortably. The first bedroom has a King size bed, the 2nd bedroom has two bunk beds and the third bedroom has one bunk bed.
Guest Access
The entire cabin is accessible to guests via a private driveway and may be shared with the owners.

Starlink Internet is complimentary.
Price for the Cabin is $250 per day.

Lakeside Cabin on Frog Bay.
⚡ Just twenty seven miles north of Highway 8 on Pine Dock Road, this secluded waterfront cabin has two bedrooms with three beds, kitchen and living area and grounds for camping.
About this space
This all-year-round cabin has been newly renovated in 2024 and is situated on Frog Bay just north of Highway 8 ( 27 miles / 44 kms ) on route 234 to Pine Dock and Matheson Island With access to a boat launch, the Narrows offers great fishing. You also have access to a canoe and other water toys. Pine dock is close by and a favourite destination for caves.
The cabin is located on an open lakefront lot and is the perfect secluded place free of any distractions. Satellite TV is available, however there is no cell phone coverage and currently no internet. Cell phone coverage stops at Beaver Creek which is 10 kms south of the cabin. The grounds are immaculately kept and has amble room for boat and snowmobile trailer storage.
The Space
The cabin is 700sq. ft and has an open layout with a spacious kitchen, cabinets, and counter space. The cabin has two well appointed bedrooms and can sleep 4 comfortably. The first bedroom has a Queen size bed, the 2nd bedroom has a double bed and an addition double hide-a-bed to slides out.
Guest Access
The entire cabin is accessible to guests via a private driveway and is on a five acre lot. There is plenty of room for tents and RV as the yard of open and clear to the beach.

This all-year-round cabin has has been recently updated and is situated one mile north of Highway 8 by the Pine Dock Road. It’s 16 kms north of Riverton on Highway 8 and 8 kms from the causeway. It’s the ideal location for the Hunter as you are steps away from your playground. The owners wish to welcome you to a special part of Manitoba with quick access numerous farms and crown land in the area!
